check out pro comps-got 33x12,5 mud terrains.these rock.make less noise than my old 30x9.5 yokohama/wild country setup.the allterrains are probably better for city driving as they carry a severe weather ratingand are considerably cheaper than the muddersa 30x9.5 is as big as i would go on a stock B2
Thanks. I'm not sure about the tire sizes. Seems to be two different sizing methods and I don't understand them yet. I know 235/75/R15 but not the sizes you guys are talkig about.
235/75 R15 is metric, it means that the tread width is 235mm, the height of the sidewall is 75% of the tread width, on a 15" Rim, translates into about a 29" diameter tire
30x9.5 R15 is American(standard) and means the overall diameter is 30", tread width is 9.5" on a 15" rim
Usually only the larger light truck tires are given in the standard sizes as most of the world is metric. I think 30" is the smallest you will typically see given in standard sizes.
I have another tire suggestion. Kelly Springfield Safari AWR's. I have 31X10.50's. They are awesome! Theyve taken me up atv and jeep trails that not a whole lot of trucks can go up. They have awesome traction in dirt, mud, snow, not much noise, wear great, and they are decent on ice too. Oh ya, mine were $105 a piece.
It looks like they come in all sizes: http://www.kelly-springfield.com/aut...ucts/sawr.html
For a stock Bronco II I'd stick with the 235/75 R-15's
They are a real good fit on a vehicle that size. 30 9.5 R15's work on some wheels but they are a very tight fit if they do work.
i put a 2.5 inch lift block under the rear spring to compensate the sag,and on stock steel 8 spoke rims i ran 30x9.5 (slightly bigger than a 235/75r15) and the rubbed a little when the tires were at full lock. htese worked fine and look good. The eddie bauers came with 2 styles of aluminum rims both of which are 7 inches wide. i have 33x12.50(about a 305/7516) in 7 inch wide rims without any drama. So I reckon that you can get ant tire you can get under your truck on those rims
