BII purchase

I am on the market for a bronco II. I was hoping to get some info on what to look out for on the various years of BII's out there, what to look out for etc things that pertain to this particular truck other than the typical used car stuff. I don't know much about the BII and would like some tips on what to look out for. I've wanted a manual 4x4 BII for a while.

We have had 2 84 Bronco 2 4x4 manual trannys and currently own one. The last one we had kept giving us a strating issue where the start just grinded I got a ring gear for it and was good as new. Our current one the only problem we have had with it was the transmission shifter came out you pop it back in and it is good to go. Also if looking for parts for them have fun they are very hard to find parts for it took me almost a year to find a transmission for our 84 bronco 2 and found out we didn't even need it. Back in 87 my dad bought an 87 bronco 2 4x4 eddie baure automatic never had a problem with it and he drove it everywhere (the job he did used alot of traveling) he sold it to his dad whom drove it all around show low arizona and never a problem.
