I am trying to order a rollpan for my ranger, but i am
confused on the way it categorizes rangers. It says splash
or ranger and mine is not a splash, but it is supercab
and stepside. Does anyone now the difference.

You should not have any problem. When I ordered the pan for my '99 Flairside, I told them what I had and included the width of the pan I needed. The fit was good and the install went well, I had to make a few spacers to fill gaps, but no real problems. I had 1 into 2 tips on the exhaust - I had a friend weld me up 2" x 3" stainless steel rectangle tips so now I have 4 tips coming out just under the license plate. Looks great! Good luck.
