keep in mind this was a custom truck from ford, where the orignal owner went to ford in 68 and basically built a truck from frame to suspension to the motor
in like 83 it was wrecked by my dad the second owneer and when he wrecked it the drive shaft broke at the u joint and ran it self til it blew, last time we ran it down the road was at a race track when i was 3, and it did 155mph
this engine isnt the big 2 factorie motors, it isnt hte windsor or the springfield
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but here goes:
You should be able to get a rebuild kit at any auto parts store. I prefer Napa.
Most FE blocks, but not all, were cast at the Detroit Iron Foundry. I think they've got a big DIF cast in 'em. I think there were also ones cast in the Michigan Casting Center, and I dont know if they have an MCC cast into 'em or not. I think the MCC ones were mainly later FE, FT, and service blocks. Again, it's not sure that these will be on any particular block. But that's the way to tell as far as I know. Honestly I dont think it makes much difference.
I'm sure you have probably heard this several times, but the chances of it being a 352PI are slim to none. You should pull the heads off and verify what you are working with before attempting to find replacement parts. My guess is that you will find a 390 motor in there, heck, if your real lucky, maybe they tossed in a 428. Measure the bore and stroke, give us a crank cast stamp number, this will tell what's up. Let us know the numbers if you need help.
i thought the 352 was gone from trucks in 68 was it replaced with a bigger fe and very slim it is a pi motor what is the casting numbers and part numbers on the intake and heads and block

The 352 was run in the truck line from 65-67, at which point it was replaced with the 360. The HP and PI engines were used from 58-65, these are solid lifter motors so you would need to get inside to find out what you have. Now I'm not saying that you "can't" have the PI motor as we have witnessed a special vehicle operation put a 427 in a 60's Ford truck for a dealership/racing team promo, but the chances are slim and you need to find out for sure what's there.
