Question Banks Stinger Plus?

i have been doing some research before i power her up.
any feedback on this kit or should i look around a little more at other kits? any problems, too high a price or mis-advertised? i mostly just drive the truck and acouple times a month i tow a lanscaping trailer then in the winter a sled trailer.
any recomendations are greatly appreciated.

I have Stinger Plus in my early 99. Completely happy with it. Some say too expensive but it is a package and everything fits and works as advertised. Carroll Allison

yeah it should give you better mpg's if you can help keep your foot out of it. you can piece togethor a system for quite a bit less than that but still get the performance out of it. i had a buddy that put it on his and i have spent less than half of what he has and have more hp and better fuel economy.
5" exaust, 6 pos chip, tymar style intake, hpx mod, soon to be water/ methonal injection and propane and intercooler and ball bearing turbo.....but thats more money but much much much more hp

Any Banks package will work well. You can save some money if you want to put together a group of components from other vendors instead of getting the Banks parts. If you don't want to take that much time, or don't feel like doing all the homework necessary to find out which pieces to get, Banks is a good way to go.

I agree with Quad, but I will say you can expect everything Bank's claims.I myself have all my performance mods from Banks with the exception of my exhaust and I am more than pleased. The only downside I can see is their prices.Good luck!

thanks for the input,

i would rather spend a little more cake on reliable power.
w/ out just dumping fuel through the injectors.

i have a few buddies w/ chips and they do get more power but the only get 12-14mpg and they smoke when you get on the pedal.
mine stock is 17.25-18mpg and 12-13 towing so i want to keep is the same or improve if possible.
i also like the fact of the trans command. i and also will be installing a larger trans cooler and and external filter too.

thanks alot
