I have a 99' (built in Oct of 98') F-350 dually diesel. In overdrive, the truck shakes between 35-45 mph in the city. When I drop it down into drive, no problems. I think it is something to do with the high gear and low RPMs. I did have the tranny completely flushed without improvement. Any ideas???
It had a slight pungent smell and was more of a raspberry red than the new cherry red color. The truck has 77k on it. I bought it used and believe it was a camper/boat truck.
I hate to say it but sounds like you may have low transmission pump pressure and causing the clutch packs to shutter at low rpms. How does it shift on hard acceleration and normal acceleration?
