Hey truckfreak, where are you at? I am down by New London, on the water. I grew up in rural Maine, got thrown into the Tampa, FL area, spent a year and a half in Phoenix, and now I'm here. I managed to pick up a bit of an accent out and about, and a love for country music, and good ol classic rock. I just can't find good stations around here!
>Seriously, though I've always admired you rednecks. You
>guys usually have a habit of being patriotic to your
>country, respect others, and stand up for your convictions.
Tell me if this is true with you guys. Ive been a redneck since junior high. All my good buddies are tried and true rednecks as well. And we are all pretty close to each other. Now approching our 5 year class reunion, We are the same way know as we were back then. Everytime I run into someone fron highschool,I find that Very few are still friends with the people they used to be friends with. I think its just a redneck thing. And looking back at school i'm glad i had these friends and was a redneck than be in one of the popular clicks, because look were they are know. they have haredly any of the same friends. and most that thought they were the $#!t in school, Arn't now. Man i can't wait for that class reunion
tim sheriff i couldnt agree with you more... im damn proud to be a redneck. i can't stand city people or pop culture one bit. and i noticed the same thing about my high school class. all the popular cliques arnt anywheres now, when i go home from school i can still get back together will all my old buddies and work on trucks or go wheelin or whatever we want and we remain close. i wouldn't wanna be anything other than a redneck country boy
lil red where you at in PA?
and dayton how close are you to state college?
dayton, i go to school at penn state, im a sophomore. my hometown is tunkhannock, pa. its up in the northeast corner of the state near scranton-wilkesbarre. i don't have my truck down here this semester so i can't get around really well, but i will next spring so maybe we can get together
Man, ain`t no shame in bein redneck!!! At least we have morals. And family does matter. Blood runs thicker than water. I just got back from a redneck campin trip last night. Had a blast!! Down here where I`m from, we`ve got redneck and redbones. Good people-- just don`t try to crossthread `em.

Hey the reneck girl don't have a pic does she lol. Ain't met too many specially up here. And I'm in east Hartford "Hotferd" lol, and it's prolly worse here then where u are. We should start a truck Jamboree around here seeing as we both got six cylinders.
I agree with most of y'all. I am one and proud to be one and I have a few redneck friends too. We all help each other out when somebody needs it. Ususally some friend'll know somethin' bout what's goin' on. We all listen to country music but I think the only thing that aint right is that a few of em drive shovellays. And there are a few fake rednecks around too. They listen to country music and drive trucks but they wear prep clothes and don't talk like we do. Oh and I feel sorry for the folks that wear baggy pants and all that city crap. They must not know where the baggy pants came from.
LOL! Half the time I don't know- I used to go to a church in Maine where the pastor was a canadian former hockey player- I can even throw in a north of the border accent now and then. I usually try to stick to southern, most of the girls love it......
Six ya never answered me on the Jamboree thing lol..... Where would that put me near Marlborough or something heading that way on 44? They are "hicks" cus they own cows and horsies, but they have no clue, they all make too much money lol........You have to to live anywhere but a suburb here, property value is too high in the country areas.
For example, my friend is a redneck in florida and he drives a 78, well he hit a pot hole the other day doing 2mph and his spring broke off and he drove it home with the truck tilted cus there was no spring on this 8 inch lift, 38 bogger 78 truck, imagine someone driving like that just makes ya wanna laugh don't it, and he did for about 10 miles too lol. That's a hick for ya.
