A 5.4L F-150 will emit less than a Crew Cab 4x4 Superduty with the same motor...less mass to move and therefore less emissions because the motor sn't working as hard. And the whole GVWR emissions requirements.
As for the CAT power, the rumor at the Proving Grounds is that Chevy's persuing the contract and getting pretty close
Jeff would deffinately hear it before the public. The superduties are about ready for the re-style too. it'll have been in production for 9 years in 2007. the longest running style yet i believe. front end doesn't matter. i mean the main body/ interchangable parts. Most ran 7 years or less then changed. 61-66, 67-72, 73-79, 80-86, 87-91, & 92-97.
i got a big decision to make when those come out. my 2002 F150 will be paid off and i am going to buy a new mustang or a SD. as long as the ol' 1997 f150 is runnin good i might ahve to get the stang.
Perfect, my lease is up on the 04 150 in July of 07. I'm going 250 or better then and definitely diesel. The only thing that could stop me from going 250+ is if they come out with butt kicking diesel in the 150's, but even with that.....I still want more of a tow truck.
the new cobra is gonna be a killer. Raw power and that retro look. i wouldn't mind having one if i could only afford one. for what i pay in gas a month i could darn near make payment on one.
mine does the same thing at idle. my inside light will dim and brighten not much but enough to tell if you look at the floor when it shines at night.
