I recently bought a 2001 Edge with the 4.0. It is a 2X4 supercab- The front brakes have gone and I need to replace them, as well as the rotors- Problem is.... I have to find out if it has 4 wheel ABS, or 2 wheel.... or..... lol long story short, I have about 4 options, and obviously I want to get the right one- Any help is greatly appriciated.

Reason: misspelling
It has about 80,000 Miles on it. I went and got the pads for it... they recommended ceramic, cause theyll keep the dust from collecting on my rims, and they are cooler.... which SHOULD help prevent them from warping as fast. The Ranger is odd too... I have done many a brake job (for myself and friends), but to replace the rotor here, you actually replace the rotor, the Wheel Bearings, AND the studs- its just one big deal- Ive never seen this before.
Wow! Really? They must have changed that in 2000 along with the hubs. On my 98, you just replace the rotors by themselves. I'm just surious, how much did one f the "rotors" cost that included all the other stuff.
well, I just got em and did the job- man- if it were just the rotors like on my old dodge, it would've been about a 20 min job- anyway, that back bearing was a pian to get out, but it worked.... and despite some whining, they work great. ( I assume the whining is cause everythings brand-spankin new) lol I hope anyway. The Rotors were just under $50 a piece, so not too bad really, and the ceramic pads were about $35- could be worse, right?
