Door Ajar Light???

Recently, the door ajar light on my dash comes on every now and then, but, the door is completely closed. And the interior dome light stays on and will not go off. I have a 1998 Ranger XLT. What is the problem here??

Door Ajar Light???

The switch is in the door latch, clean it with electrical contact cleaner. Some people have had luck with spraying WD-40 in the latch.
