combustion chamber size????

Is there a way to make the combustion chambers smaller without milling the head???

I bought 9.0 -1 pistons (was very cheap) and actually need around 10-1 compression.

First off, welcome aboard!

Secondly, your other option may be to go with a thinner head gasket. Check with the folks at your local machine or performance shop, they should be able to help you out. What motor are you working with and what are you doing with it??

I'm working on a 1991 ford 302 H.O. motor.

I will have a 2500 stall in the trans. so I'm building it for mid and high rpm power.

On a Budget..............!

So far:

Speed Pro 9.0-1 coated Hyper pistons and chrome moly rings
Ford motorsports X303 roller cam
Weiand X-celerator intake
Road Demon jr. 725cfm

I am thinking of going with roller rockers with a higher ratio (1.7)?????

And all the normal block and head machine work.

ANY SUGGESTIONS????

Cr

There is an option.....

You could weld up the combustion chambers and mill them back out. Chances are that this will kill your flow though.
