I was using my 77 f250 4x4 off road this week. It is equipped with the 300 six.
I have recently rebuilt the carb and added a new fuel pump. After about a half hour of climbing the truck would stall from lack of fuel and I would have to crank it over about 15 times before the fuel would reach the carb. Also I
noticed that when I shut the truck off the gas would not stay in the fuel line between the carb and the fuel pump. I have a glass fuel filter installed vertically just above the fuel pump. What is the problem here and what can I do to correct it?
