(stupid) idea..

i'm looking for some bass in my truck and i have a powered subwoofer sitting in my room.

is there like.. a power inverter/converter something that i can plug the subwoofer in in my truck and run the speakers through it?

i know it sounds 'ghetto', but i'm just looking for something to hold me over until i can hook it up the right way.

They make em. You can get em at a lot of places. I've seen em at Wal-Mart in the electronics dept. Make sure ya get one that can handle enough watts.

Shouldn't be too hard, Wal-Mart has them for I believe under $20. And that's not too ghetto, my setup a while back was ghetto. I had a 10" Kicker CompVR powered by bridging by rear speakers, into the Comp, but my "box", was a bucket with a 10" lip. Sealed nicely, but one day I was playing some Limp Bizkit, and the bucket popped off. Now that's ghetto. I have lots better now though.
