hey yall i dont know bout the rest of yall but i love to play games on mu computer im mostly into flying games like microsoft flight sim but i also play alot of racing games(just a kid at heart) and i was wondering if anybody has or heard about the game motor city online?
i have checked the web site and read those reviews but i want some honest opions (not that they are not honest, maybe biased) before i spend the money on a game like that
It's an O.K game. Both my brother and a friend have it. Takes a lot of time to build up your levels and $$ to get the best cars. I think it would be a better game if it were a little more realistic. For instance, my friend has a 32 Ford coupe (2700lbs) with 840hp and it will only run 10.70 in the 1/4. Some of the prices for things are unbelievable also. $5,000+ for a block, $9,000 for 125hp nitrous, $1000 for an aluminum intake but only $250 for a set of pistons. It is a good game overall, lots of people on there.
I love playing pc games. i love im going in, aoilder of fortune, blood, gtas, midtown madness, sim city, ect ect ect. im really into pc games
i've heard of motorcity online, but i dunno if id buy it tho. is it for 1 player or what? cause i've heard that you can only play it over a lan line connection
the 3 games i play the most that are not flting related are Kiss Physco circus(awsume first person fighting game), Rollercoaster Tycoon(one of the best tycoon games i got) and finally Beatle Buggin,if you libve VW's you got to get this game you race bugs everywhere on the beach on city streets you got to jump them threw burnin hoops its great,
i got midtown maddness too i play that alot and of coarse i got dirt track racing and all the nascar games i think maybe i spend a bit to much time playing pc games lol
How do you like the Microsoft Flight Sim? What do you use for a controller? I've been looking at getting it, just don't know if I want to spend the $$ on it yet. I'm also waiting for the price of MCO to come down. You wouldn't think they would charge so much for the game ($40 around here) since it costs $10/ month to play after the first month.
i love the flight sim and i got the yoke and hand throttle for flyin.
thats why i havent gotten MCO cause im not sure it would be worth it and how much fun it would be to do it off line dont make much sense, i do got a game i play once in a while thats cool snap-ons gearhead garage, gets old kind quick though

You have to be online to play MCO, kind of a drawback if you don't have unlimited internet access. And when the servers get busy, the game gets glitchy.
I am not a fan of flying around unarmed. Never know just who is in that cloud over there...
Thus I would like to recommend MS Combat Flight Sim II to those who like the realistic flight sims. For those who like easier flight sim models there are other flight games out there, but CFS2 is pretty good. There are tons of downloads out on the 'net to get newer planes and, especially, new missions and sets of missions.
Combat flight sims seem to take a long time to get tired of since there are myriads of ways one can get themself in trouble or attack an enemy. But even after this long-than-the-typical lifespan of these games, the enemy flight models (as well as your wingmen's flight/attack models) do get a bit boring.
Can anyone recommend a really good combat flight sim with good wingmen & enemies (propellers only, please... jets and rockets aren't any fun)?
i recomend any of the jane's combat flight sims i got WWII fighters mig 29 F15 just about any of the combat flight games are good but Janes are the best i found
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Feb-02 AT 09:29 PM (EST)]I have to admit I'm still in the stone age with Online playing.
CFS2 with my feeble 56k modem (which connects, at best, at 48,000 baud) would just be too disheartening.
However, I do use the online demo Medal of Honor game occasionally, and I have rave reviews about that game. Classic WWII weapons, individual or team games, always fighting REAL people. Good stuff until too many phone modem players hook up to someone's fast connection.
Thanks for the offer(!), very kind of you - but I'm just a computer fighter until I get back out of college (put myself in the poorhouse and came back).
