I'm DooMed!
Well, I have finally got a new computer that is wayyy faster than my old one. So, I went out and thought to myself "Self, you can now play DooM!" 
Picked it up for $30 and let me tell you; that is the BEST $30 ever spent! This game is amazing! I usually play it at night with my headphones on. I am soooo scared when playing this game that my hand sometimes shakes!
Two thumbs up to id Software for this awesome game!
Now if only 3D Realms would get their act together and bring out Duke Nukem Forever, at least before my computer is obsolete!

I heaar ya. I played Doom for a while in the fall but stopped before I beat the game. I recently reinstalled it and have been playing it solid again. This is an awsome game. Scares the heck outta me when I play at night. How's your comp handeling the game ?

Gran Turismo 4 on Playstation 2. Best driving game around. I just posted the same thing in a different thread... whoops! Oh well, That's my fav, and it's way cheaper than a new PC to handle all that jazzed up stuff.

I really don't get into games much, but I got hooked on Myst when it was the hot thing, and I still have that plus Riven and Myst III Exile, although I don't play them much. I also have Flight Simulator which I only played once and it caused so many problems with my computer I've been reluctant to try it again. I have something called Schizm that's sort of like Myst but I only tried it once. I used to have a couple of the early versions of Nascar, but not anymore.
I guess I spend way too much of the time I've got this thing turned on here at FTE...I really need to get a life! -TD

*Lisp in computer nerds voice*...C'mon guys...lest go play some computer games.....
I like the gran turismo games, and pretty much any other driving games. Other than the ricer part.....Need For Speed underground is an awesome game to play. So many options to play out when modding the cars. I heard Doom was very violent...but I'm not really the type that gets scared by zombie computer games.

Might get Doom3 based on your recommendation. Just got a new computer last month, and haven't really put it to the test yet. I've been stuck in a rut playing the WWII FPS "Day of Defeat" (even joined a clan).
