Bed Bolts Loose
I had a knocking, thumping after I got back from Florida. I found out that the two forward bed bolts were loose. I hauled a Generator down, that was all the way forward and strappped down. Trying to figure out if I crushed the bushings or the Generator put enough preesure on the bed so there was no tension on the bolts and they spun backwards. The Generator was heavy enough that it took two to unload and carry it, but wasn't that big of a deal. Also it was padded by cardboard. PS They were just loose enough to spin the washers and they were out when the bed was sprayed in early 2001.
