Generator issues
I have a problem with my generator mounting the top bolts in fine but not the bottom I think I have a 6 cyl generator on an 8 I don't know if the tabs on the generator are different any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the tab you are talking about is for the bolt for the adjustment arm. It's possible you have a six cylinder generator, they are clocked at a different location, one is left of center, the other is right.. I have a V8 one on my 6 cylinder but found a longer arm to use in my pile of junk.
