Yes, those who are "Barbie Low" remember. Too bad I had another load of rock brought in. The drop off from my driveway slab is gone now. I'm about head high to Barbie now. I seem to recall a Himmelberg Malibu Barbie picnic scene as well if memory serves.

And check out new T-gate. I 'm just in an artsy mood lately. Have to look close to make out the new lettering.

Off to Hobby World I go for some fiberglass and art supplies. I feel some Smokey the Bear kickpanels coming on. I'm ripping off Norb's theme.

OK, now I'm letting this thread drop. I mean it this time.

Drop? Drop? Oh no, "Fender's Artrees" or "Fender's Artrecca" or whatever it is I'm having trouble reading. We've got some loose ends here that our newer viewers need to know. One: hey, he's just kidding about the tailgate, guys. Don't do this.

Two: Barbie? Yes, I am married to Barbie... though I haven't ever had the guts to call her that. She's Barb or Barbara, not Barbie. And those are her Barbies having a picnic. She lets me take pictures of them... but not play with them. Like John's wife she has been heard to say to me "What the h@#$ do you know ???", too.

Three: Great paint job. himmelberg

This thread's never gonna die ! It's just too cool !

Dewayne, that looks mighty fine...even with no sun . Which means, since you still have to show us a shot in the sun, and the sun doesn't shine over there 'til spring (heck, it doesn't here, either) this thread will survive until then .

And ya know, I like the tailgate...looks good on there. But it just doesn't work with red. Maybe if your truck was atropurpurea:

Or how about viridis aurea:

These are highly technical artistic color terms not generally used outside the trade...so you should be honored !

looks very good fenders....the blue outline was a very nice touch.....

jag...it would be pretty interesting to see; a 54 with a 56 grille featuring 53 teeth....im sure its prolly never been done, or else VERY seldom...could look good actually

Aurea....i think the purple would really bring out 'fenders personality ....jus playin man, ur doin an awesome job with the flames

Ok, I'll start the second set of 100. Thanks for sharing Dewayne. The flames really set it off! This should provide much needed enthusiasm to get many of us through the could rainy/snowy winter months. John

Heck, I'm so slow I couldn't even get 101.

'Fenders,

Nice flame job! I really like the white front. Not gonna be fun to clean off those Iowa cornfield bugs though....

Ya know, your whole truck with the flame effect just SCREAMS for a big block....a nice little 521 stroker Ford maybe???

Say, whatever happened to that GM BBC crate motor you got last Christmas???

if 'fenders was smart, he melted that gm down and used it for sheetmetal...or even paperweights....."FatFenders Paperweight Company".....sounds professional....mass production, millions of dollars profit...i hope i get a cut for the idea
