More problems!!!
well I got my heads back and they turned out real good. The machinist ported them more and polished them up real good for me (if ya remember I was the one who ported throught a water jacket and had it welded did not last long), good to have a Ford Fe machinist work on my heads, BUT know as I was getting the lower block ready to put back together , I droped the oil drive holder down in the oil pan when I tore the engine apart when my head started leaking water, so I dropped the pan this week to fish it out and notice a bolt in the oil pan so I removed the pan from the truck and it was a main cap bolt, it seems that the last time the truck was running and the head started leaking water it must of gotten in the cylinder and well something had to give!! it broke the casting on the block were the bolt would screw into. so know I am looking for another 360/390 block and a 428 crank. The machinist and I figure I can use my pistons and he will just cut off enough to get what ever compression ratio I want probably 12 to 1. time to build a god racing engine!! any help on a block please send it my way or even a crank?? I am located in Texas.

I have 4.090 piston (.040) over . so I need a good 360 or 390 block. I have been watching ebay real close here lately. I am taking my time, got to save up some money and work it in the budget every month. hopefuly I will have it running sometime early next year, thanks for any help on a block. from what I can see my crank does not look like it got hurt so I probably will be selling it after I get it out.
