I am getting a 32 code on the dash, and the code reader came back with B1932. Do I need to replace the clock spring or is there something else that would give me this code?
Model and year often helps to isolate the symtom and diagnostics.
You will have a 99 percent chance of having a defective clock spring with a code 32 (B1932) but if you want to spend some more money on the diagnostic equipment I can post the complete diagnostic routine.
Possible Causes
Driver air bag high resistance could be caused by:
a poor connection or corrosion in the driver air bag module circuits or the air bag sliding contact.
an open circuit or high resistance in the air bag sliding contact windings.
an open circuit or high resistance in the wiring harness.
an open circuit or high resistance in the driver air bag module.
