buying a 200k PSD?
I want to get a superduty PSD to haul around my cab over camper and to tow my jeep around from sacramento to Moab, So cal, phoenix, etc. It would be my daily driver but between my work truck and my wifes grand cherokee, it probably won't see a whole lot of miles, other than the big trips. I really don't want to spend much more than $15k, but I also want a supercab and 4x4 and am a sucker for leather and the bells and whistles. So most of the trucks in that price range have over 150k miles and with the nicer xlts, and larriats over 200k miles. How concerned should I be about these high milers. I am mechanically inclined, but I don't care to be replacing things all the time. And I don't really care to be stranded 700 miles from home

Each vehicle with that sort of mileage needs to be carefully checked over stem to stern. Especially look at service records to verify good maintainance habits. Make sure the coolant additive has been maintained and is currently good. Do a Carfax search on the VIN # to make sure that it hasn't been horribly wrecked and retitled.
