redundant straight pipe question

I've installed a 4 inch exhaust with a downpipe. It has a muffller, if I remove it and put a 4 inch pipe in place of it, is this considered a stright pipe exhaust? I've deleted the cat, and installed a napa 6637 filter. Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes that would be straight piped.

Do you have a straight pipe system, and does it sound any louder or growl more? I believe you have a 460, so mine would sound different with a diesel. Thanks, Jeff

I have a 2000 powerstroke I put a 4 inch exhaust on it, it wasnt loud enough, then i straight piped it, still wasnt loud enough, now i have 5 inch stacks and it is finally loud enough.
