Prior owner has three wires wired up on back of alternator (and two open bolts) but new harness has 5 wires.
All this is because I got MALLORY Unilite and its only suppose to have 6 volts to coil. with key in ON posistion I got 12 volts at ign switch and 6 volts at coil (after going thru resister) but when truck is running I get 13.5 at coil!!!! Its almost like resister wire isnt even working.... any ideas?
