I would like a system that I will not notice when I am on the highway or not getting on it. Does any of the systems mention above do that or do I have to keep my stock unit.

I just had Borla put on my 04 FX4 4x4 5.4L Supercab and I love it. Like Gordo nice sound not overbearing. At idle it is as quiet as stock, punch into it and you know it's there and no drone at highway speeds. $576 shipped to my door. Truck seems to run smoother since I had it put on. Maybe just in my head and maybe not.
Where Did you Buy it, best price i see on Ebay was 588
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and so is the SOUND!!
Flowmaster 40, 50 (60 is for small engines) and 70 are all GREAT products. Check out the data on line. I went with the 70/single 3" to minimize the deep interior sound - or at least get it as close to OEM as possible.
Regardless of which system you choose; Flowmaster, Borla, Magnaflow or Gibson, they are going to sound different because of the increase in airflow over OEM - basic physics. Plus, I found that once you pay some $$$$ and change out your stock, you always try to hear what it sounds like when you fire it up..... and it always sounds better!
