compression test

i did a compression test today on my 72 ford f250 with 360 fe.i got 125psi in every single piston .also with the throttle closed.seems kinda low but i know this engines came with low compression.what kind of #s have you guys gotten.

When i did a comp test on my 360, last time, The highest I got was 140, Then mainly arond 125ish-135ish. (not to mention a 90 and 75

)

That is fine compression for a 360....Mine had 90-100psi and has run great like that for 7 or 8 years now.

alright!!!seemed a little low but i was surprised every piston got the same.thanxs guys.

When doing comp. test pinch incoming fuel line to fuel pump & remove hot lead from coil . open throttle WIDE open - crank engine the same amount of turn's or for so many sec.'s do it w/ the engine cold, & - running temp., this will give you a base line on your engine's life for it's power .
