New at this forum board stuff, but I'm looking to put a performance chip in my 01 Ranger 4.0. Diablo or Super? I've also heard about Hyper Tech chip. Any suggestions on which chip is best?

The Hypertech will only tune at wide open throttle which is why you can run 87 octane with it. The Superchips works well for the Ranger but has clearance problems and you'll need to cut out the plastic tabs from the back of the computer housing for it to fit. The Diablo fits without modifying the housing. Which is better? Well, I've got a Ranger and I've run more than one program from both Superchips and Diablo ----> there's a Diablo under my hood.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Dec-02 AT 11:05 PM (EST)]There's a diablo under my hood also, bigford.
Believe me Ken knows what he's talking about.
I purchased the Diablo delta 3 stage chip, 2 custom modes, and 1 stock mode from Ken. This chip will allow me to add on and take advantage of things that I'm hopeing Santa will put in my stocking... , hope I've been good enough for a blower...
