I just scored two cherry toolboxes from the besides of two camper Specials for a hundred dollars. i saw many clean, rust free parts for Ford pick me ups, of the early to late seventies.
And you're not telling us -- your Blue Oval Buddies -- where you saw all these treasures????
Do you mean the toolbox built into the forward right outside of the bed? My F250 Custom has that. It's one of the reasons I initially believed the guy who told me it was a Camper Special; I thought those were Camper Special items. Neat idea, though. I wish it had more than one.
BTW, if you see deals on ammo cans at gun shows or surplus stores, there's more than enough room for the .50 cal. size behind the bed. In fact, the size known in these parts as "Fat Fifty" will fit perfectly. I'm going to buy four more, and line up five behind my seat. That ought to store most of my tools and emergency goodies.
