Bed size / interchange question...

I've located a decent bed for my truck, and it even has the built in toolbox! Someone was saying, however, that he thought the toolbox meant it came off of a camper special and that the boxes were different- the wheel well was put further back- and that it would not fit on my truck. Will an 8' bed with a tool box fit on a truck that had an 8' bed without a tool box?

If its just a toolbox and not a spare tire carrier it should fit. Ask for measurement from front of bed to front of wheel well otherwise to double check.

Yes it will fit. I went in the other direction had a really rusted out bed with toolbox and replaced it with a standard 8' bed bolted on with no issues

Check to make sure it is from a camper special, not a super camper special which had a spare tire door instead of a toolbox door. They are longer and will not work.
