Do you guys notice that the new thunderbirds are not talked about much? I love those cars so much they are soo cool fordguy101

I think they are pretty snertzy, myself. Now..if Ford would just add the Cobra V8 pack with it and the possible planned 6 speed for the lightning.....ufdah! Chevy...eat my dust!

we got one at your dealership when it first came out. its still there, no takers, not as hot as i though they would be

The new Thunderbird stop selling well within the first year it was released. The dealers in my area (Detroit area) were selling them $5-$10 thousand over invoice during the first few months it was released.

The vehicle was over priced and under powered. Last thing I heard was that Ford was planning to discontinue it.

The engine isn't bad in general, it's bad for the sticker price and in comparision to similar vehicles. You should get more performance at the Thunderbird's sticker price. It falls behind it's competition in the luxury convertible market in performance.
