RABS for 94 Ranger problem.
My 94 Ranger RABS light came on. I found a blown fuse. Replaced it, checked fluid level, float, electrical connections and brakes...all good. Fuse blew again! ABS light blinks (15 short, 1 long) rather than staying on.
Any suggestions? or similar experiences?

Come to find out that my trailer light hookup had a fray in it and every time it would touch wire to bare steel that fuse would blow.
So, I had to rewire my whole tail light hookup in the middle of a wal mart parking lot somewhere in ohio in the middle of the night becuse they did have the right replacement for my trailer tail light kit.
That was mi situation, maybe it will help...

Code 16 is a pass code, have you checked to make sure the RABS lead is not grounding out, grounding it is how you start the codes.
>lock up like regular brakes wet or dry yet my dash light
>comes on as I turn the key just like normal and goes off.
>They actually casuse me to skid in to somone the other day.
>any ideas?

I would start with checking the condition of the rear brakes and checking for codes. I know there shouldn't be any since the light is not on but it only takes a few minutes to run the codes.
