Hazard light ?

I have a 77 f150, I turn the hazard lights on then if I hit the brakes it makes the lights stop blinking, and just stay on steady. Is this normal?

On our '66 Country Squire and on a '71 Dodge or Plymouth wagon:

Turn on 4 ways.

Step on brake.

Now the radio will play and you can operate the rear power window.

Beats me, but it worked to open the back of the band director's car (for good purpose, not tricks) and to listen to that hiqh quality AM radio ....

This is because most newer vehicles will have seperate turn signal's from the brake's. 1977 had a single bulb for both turn signal and brake lighting.

This is normal as well.
