I have the same squealing problem. but some how the service tech can't find a problem. I really don't know how he can't find a problem when they squeak everytime you touch the pedal!!!!!!!! It started with mine around 11k and now with almost 13k it's still doing it. I will admit in the past few weeks it seems to be getting better. It's going back to the dealer today for another issue and I will ask about the brakes again, if he still won't do anything i'll just replace them with ceramics myself. Have seen alot of posts about ceramics and everyone seems to be happy with the results on these trucks.
If anyone finds a solution( tsb or otherwise ) let us know!!
Get your truck into service! If nothing else it will document the fact that you took it in for this problem. From my experience it may not be the only time you take it in for squealing brakes. My front rotors warped twice, and the emergency brake was hung up once. This caused a loud squeal that I could not get rid of by varying the brake pressure. The rear rotors has to be replaced. This seems to be fairly common. The warranyt on the brakes is only 12,000 miles. Ford will admit there are bad front rotors out there, but you may need to take it in for service 2-3 times before they will replace them. Remember,12,000 miles goes by fast if you love driving your truck as much as I like driving mine!
