Firewall harness removal?
Doing the dreaded heater core replacement on '97 f-150. Got the dash about out, but can't determine how to pull the wire harness into the the passenger compartment through the firewall. Already disconnected the plugs in engine compartment. Help!!!

Once the plugs are removed there is a black trim piece that surrounds the large interior side bulkhead connector on the engine side. Just pull that trim piece off and then you will find a plastic lock tab on each side of the three colored connectors. Just pinch the tabs inward and the large bulkhead connector will push on into the interior.
