first start up psd smokes blue

Good going . . . I guess I should have mentioned that the o-ring solution assumes that glow plugs, gp relay and all wiring harnesses & connectors all check out and are functioning properly. Mine was all fine but I was still getting the cold start smoke-out.

this is all very good to know thanks for posting the results and if you plan on buying high performance injectors be prepared for a rediculous amount of money I am still aching over it.

hey thats for the reply....well its been a few days now since doing the repair to the PSD and it starts so much easier in the morning....BUT it still smokes for a minute or two..iam guessing it is the injector o-rings like the guys posted before....iam just conserned about removing the stock injectors ( seen in diffrent posts that the tip brakes off in the cylinder head????) hey by the way how much are the HI-Performance injectors cost?? thanks

If it goes away after a minute or two, I wouldn't be terribly concerned about it right now. I get some smoke for 30 secs. to a minute when its below 55 or so.

That's the glow plug tips, you're already past that.

thanks for the reply, i didnt know it was the glow plugs that are the probelm with the tip breaking off..but now i know. GOD LORD thats alot of money for hi-po injectors.....iam going to just price out the o-ring kit for all the injectors and probley just do that for now....thanks again
