engine swap ; need wiring help
i have an 89 f150 with a 300 6 cyl. i recently installed a 5.0 efi
out of an 88 lincoln . i have installed the lincoln ecm and engine
harness .what i need help with is the rest of the wiring in engine
harness that i had to cut from the lincolns bulk head connector
they are not the same colors as the bulk head connector in the
truck and i cant find a decent diagram .
if all else fails what is necessary to power the ecm and tfi module
has anyone else done this?

I would really recommend trying to find a wiring harness from an '89 F150 with a 5.0 - that would be the easiest option. However, you can get a wiring diagram for the lincoln and match up wire colors and destinations. It will take some time for sure, but it can be done. The controls are all the same, it's just a matter of matching up wires and adding what the lincoln had that the truck didn't.
