Radio needs
I finally found a nice original '67 Ford/Bendix AM radio for my truck a few months back. It looks really nice mounted, but I have a new problem now.
I can't find the original Ford speaker (C7TA-18808-A) anywhere and to top that off I can't find a 12 foot length of antenna wire with a male end to hook it all up to my aftermarket radio antenna that was mounted on the toolbox by the original owner.
Sure, I could just cut a hole and mount it where Ford originally would have, but I just can't bring myself to drill the hole. Besides, I really like the look of it mounted on the toolbox instead.
I've been to our sponsors and the closest speaker I've found was one with dual cones that takes far more wattage to drive than my little am radio can deliver so I really want to stick with a stock one. Can anyone point me somewhere? And the speaker wire just isn't availible in anything longer than OEM length. Any sources for that much wire with a male end?
Get me through all this and I'll sing at your wedding. (Just kidding there, I couldn't carry a note if you put it in a five gallon bucket for me.
