Bronco II problems...
My brother has an '86 Bronco II 4by with a fuel injected 6... bought it with what he thought was a timing chain problem... back-fired, blew muffler off, ran BAD... he pulled the timing chain cover and it was fine... replaced distributor cap and rotor, coil, coil wire, checked out timing, etc. Starts, but still runs awful. He says the spark appears weak but can't find a thing wrong with it!

Any ideas?

Bronco II problems...
It might be the TFI module. When replacing the TFI module Ford recomends replacing the stator assambly too. Good luck.

Bronco II problems...
He says the TFI checks out as okay, don't know if the test checks out the stator or not.

Bronco II problems...
He's decided to JUNK it... let me know if anyone wants a good five-speed or a few other worthwhile parts!

Bronco II problems...
Actually I'm in need of a few parts. I need the shift lever for on the transer case, not the one in the cab.

Where is the Bronco II located at? If near Chicago, there are a few parts that I can use as well.
