dimmed headlight
I just changed my bulbs for the headlight for the second time. First and only reason was becasue the right headlight just got so dimm that it wasnt producing any useful lighting. Shorty like about 2 week after replacing both bulb again, same thing... right headlight just dmmed out. I can understand 1 bulb blowing out but not producing enough light is beyound me. Need I mention the left is bright enough.

More than likely something wrong with the wiring harness or terminals in the connector, possibly the ground wire for the bulb. You will have to measure voltage at the bulb pins with the bulb on and see how much voltage is getting to it. Check wiring harness for any chaffing, see if one of the wires goes to ground and clean that connection. Look at the terminals in the connector for discoloration or corrosion.

Yeah, typically when you have one bright light and one dim light, it is a grounding problem. Changing the bulb is just jiggling the wires around and getting you a better connection, for a while. Check where the ground wire bolts to the fender.

90% chance it's a grounding problem... had it on several Fords... '77 Granada (I'm ashamed to admit)... '84 T-Bird... '94 Cobra....
Follow your grounding wire and check where it bolts to the body... check the connection at the headlight... and check the condition of the grounding wire.
