o2 sensor?

o2 sensor?
OK, i just got a 85 B2 and i find that it have some kind of o2 sensor on de driver side out take manifuel, but is disconected, the truck is carburated, so i wonder if that sensor is stock or those aren't the stock manifuels?, it look's like it's sucking to much gas, so i wonder if it have somethig to do with it, also in front of the carb is some extrange part, i don't now what it is but it looks like it move the throtle, any idea?

o2 sensor?
Those older systems really don't get a lot of fuel control from the O2 feedback system. Only about 10%. Usually will run fine without being hooked up. I would look to the power valve in the bottom of the carb as the most likely source of rich running.

well I have the 85 and it good on gas same engine 2.8 ltr
the egr valve id the thing you see infront of your carb and the o2 sensor can make a dfi it saved me about 3 mpg when I replaced mine also check the carb for sure mine was screwed and I put a rebuilt carb on it and it made a huge dif
