I finally got my truck finished! Check out the gallery!
I got a great deal from a company in New Mexico....sportztrailers.com
I got the 6" FABTECH lift for $1495 free shipping and no tax!
I also got the 35/12.5-17 Pro-Comp XTs for $840 free shipping and no tax!
I purchased the wheels at rons rims, available online and ebay, for $575
All in all I think I got a pretty good deal...I had a local suspension shop install the lift for $400, including alignment!
Let me know what you guys/gals think
WOW!!! That is an awesome look. Pretty much what I want mine to be when I get the lift. Is the ride still great?
I haven't really driven it all that much, yet. I picked it up this evening...took it home and washed it. I drove around a little. It felt pretty good. I can feel the knobby tires on the road (which I kinda like). Its hard to explain but it definitely feels different, not in a bad way though. Still a comfortable ride!
Now I have to make a descison on either Pro-Comp XTs, Toyo M/T or what they order me Nitto A/T. The shop talked me out of the M/T's but I am getting second thoughts because the M/T look more aggressive.
It is definitely a tougher look. The XTs and the Mickey Thompson Baja Claw radials are both sweet (aggressive) looking tires. ProComp MTs are pretty tough looking too. I just didnt want to get a 35" tire that looked like stock radial, just bigger.
