I have been looking *everywhere* for these guys. Hooker used to make a set, but they are no longer being made. The hookers also fit the Class C motorhime built on a Ford chaisis. I am going to try the Hedman headers that fit the Class C motorhome with a 460. I am ordering on line and if they don't fit, I get to send them back. I have also considered a pair of block huggers or shorty headers for the application.
If I were close enough I would drive to South San Francisco and have Sanderson take a look about building me a set.
Let's keep each other informed about our progress.
when i had my 79 f350 4x4 i bought my headers from this place i have a set on my 86 bronco with 460 been there almost 5 years awesome headers heres the linkhttp://www.stans-headers.com
I went over to the muffler guy today and he said he *thinks* the hedman will work. I am still concerned where the tube on the drivers side will come out. Afterall, the front driveshaft is right there.
most headers have a tendancy to hit there stans has the drivers side drop a little lower to clear it had no problems on my 79 and there tri y''s very good truck headers
I just talked Phil at Stan's. He does not think the headers he makes will fit the 4x4 van.
If anyone in the Seattle area would like to take their 78 Quadravan with a 460 in by there and let him measure to make sure I would really appreciate it.
