Clutch play
I'm having a bit of a problem with my 98 Ford F150 (4.2L V6 5 Speed). Heres the story:
The truck has sat for about 6 months, its been started a few times but thats about it. Before it sat, I had the clutch replaced and the slave cylinder replaced (just in case).
My problem is that now that its back on the road, it seems like I have to push the clutch all the way almost into the firewall to get it to work. If its out even half and inch or so I can't shift gears. Actually today at an intersection it plain refused to go into any gears at all for me no matter what I did with the clutch, until I left it alone for a minute or so.
I checked the clutch fluid level, and it SEEMS fine, theres a black cup or something in the reservoir and its floating on top of the fluid, which is pretty close to the top.
Can I adjust the pedal at all or is there something else I should try? Maybe the pedal is sticking?

Sorry that no one replied til now.
There are no adjusments you can do on your clutch. It sounds to me like you've got air in the hydraulics. You can try bleeding the system and see what happens.
