Has anyone dynamated the roof on their truck? I have two subs, and when they hit real low, the roof rattles bad. It really annoys me, and it sounds pretty bad outside. Now, how would i dynamat it? I'd have to remove the headliner right? Thanks for any replies.
I have the same problems with my back hatch on my explorer....It rattles really bad and sound terrible outside the car....I was thinking about removing the panals on the back hatch and getting some spray dinomat and spray it down realy good but I dont know if thats going to stop the rattling....
Where can you get the spray dinomat? I need to do like my whole interior. It seems like the only way I can truely hear bass, is from how fast the parts in the back are rattling, the faster, the higher the bass, the slower, the lower lol. I listened to it outside and it sounded like I had "tin cans in the back", but from about 20 feet back there's no rattles, just bass. Inside my house, there's a bunch of rattles from walls and mirrors and whatnot. So where do you get this stuff?
Is it a rattle or more of a vibration sound? Your roof wouldnt be too bad to do. just pull off the headliner and go at it. I have everything done but my roof and its not hard to do at all. Just cut it, peel it, stick it, heat it up if you want, and roll it out.

Romer,
I get my stuff from Second Skin. The owner's name is Ant. His website is: http://secondskinaudio.com/secondskin.html I oredered Damplifier Pro (which is like dynamat) and a spray on product called Spectrum to put in my F-250 PSD. Contact Ant, tell him what you are wanting to do and he will hook you up. Great customer service. By the way, MTV just selected him to supply the soundproffing for this season of Pimp My Ride. I found him on a car audio forum and he is very helpful. Best of luck
