A4LD Swap
I found your site while looking for help diagnosing an overdrive problem with an A4LD. Your site is great and can tell from searching the archives I’m soon in need of some trans work.
I have access to a good auto trans from an 86 bronco II 4x4; will this fit in my 88 BII4x4 without modifications?
At least one supplier has separate listings for 85 to 87 and 88 and up A4LD’s.
Removing the trans seems fairly straightforward are there any tricks?
