wont run
I bought an 85 bronco 2 with a v6 2.8 engine in it it has an automatic transmission and 4 wheel shifter on the floor I have but a better carb on it new fuel filter and complete tune up It will start and idle (alittle fast but not worried about it at moment-can fix that) but as soon as you try to move it it chugs and shuts off then it will fire up again and do it all again I am wondering if you think it is that I have a vaccum line off somewhere or maybe a break in a vaccum line get back to me and thanks for the help guys MIKE

I just bought an '84 and had to put an engine in it. Mine had two burned valves. It cost me about $600 to overhaul the engine because one of the heads was cracked, too. The overhauled engine runs okay, but doesn't have the power I expected. I bought it cheap and only have about $1200 into it total. It should make for a good winter vehicle because the Lightning definitely is not.
