advance adapters overdrive unit
has anybody delt or heard about the adavance adapters overdrive unit that hooks up to the T19? lookin into it, wanna check here first though. hope you guys can help, you usually do.

nope, not here I used the gear vendors overdrive unit. They make adapters for all transmissions to bolt their aux trans up. Worked great, you can set it totally automatic or set it to work like a 2 speed manual trans.

I went to their website and looked at the unit. From what I could tell it goes in front of the transmission on the bell housing. That would be a nightmare to modify the transfer case linkages and move the tranny shifter back that far and have to patch the old holes in my opinion. Almost have to have bucket seats so the transfer case shifter could be between the seats.

i have a gear vendors in one truck and us gear in the other. gear vendors is much better, it will shift under full power. the us gear unit is like the old two speeds, you have to let up on throttle then bang. have not heard of advanced adapters

I think that's what one of the guys said and he really likes it. Said it was little more effort to put in than any of the other setups but he liked that he could use the 4x4 with it. Personally I prefer the U.S Gear setup to any of them. I like having the old two speed setup. The gearvendor isnice especially if you don't want to do anything but I personally prefer the U.S. Gear.
