Great post.
I will take it in for that ASAP.
It sure is annoying when I trailer my 5th wheel to reset that thing every time I go into rev.

Excellent. What a pain to hear that thing every time you back up with a trailer. Too bad we can't do this ourselves, as with the seatbelt dinger. Can't imagine this will affect the warranty. Shouldn't cost anything either.

I would guess they could charge you for labor... since it is a personal preference item...

all the more reason to "buddy up" to the svc writer and mgr

I just had it done today for my Expedition. The recept says "Do... at no charge per..." the service director. I got in a little argument with the service director on Monday trying to find out if this is warranty or not, which I never got an answer to.
