does the (off) light stay on??
and if so can you turn it off and back on, and get the light to go out?
try backing up near a wall 4-5' and cycling the switch.
let me know what you find out.
remember the gap between the prox sensor, and the plastic housing they are in, must be free.
If it has rained recently where you are, water can cause problems also.
they also only work in when vehicle is in reverse (figured you knew that, but just to be sure)

The light does stay on once in a while. And every so often I hear a beep from it when I put it in reverse. But when I tried backing up to something it didn't work. It doesn't rain much here in SoCal so I don't think it's that. How can I check the gap between the sensor and plastic housing without taking everything apart?
sounds as if you have dirt in the gap.
pressure washer will sometimes blast them out, or air hose.
if not you will have to pull them out and wipe them off and put them back.
(there really not suited for off road use)
I have the F250 fuse and wiring diagrams, but the pdf file is too large to post here in FTE. Send me an email at clevelandp@bek.com, and I'll reply with the pdf file for you.
EDIT:
Upon looking over the diagrams, the only potential reference I can find is the Parking Aid Module. might be what you need, but might not be, too. You're still welcome to the file.

Are you saying the sensors must be installed in the bumper to test? I have been working on mine and just pulled them all out and replace each one with a new sensor and they still don't work.
Buy the way I also have an 04 scab 4x4 Lariat
sorry! I can't help with the diagram. But I do know the wiring harness for the reversing sensors can go bad, and that you can replace the harness the sensors plug into.
