89 Bronco still will not start!

The truck was starting and running ok until I parked it about a month ago. So far I have changed the fuel filter (plugged bad), ignition module, plugs. The distributor had been taken out but am relatively sure it is close to where it has to be but it still won't start. I have good spark, and I smell gas so I think the fuel pump is fine. What else could it be? The starter sounds fine but I did have a problem with it wanting to turn over when it was warmed up, could that be my trouble? Snow will be here soon and I need my plow truck! I hate being a pest about this but since it won't run it's hard to get it to a mechanic. Thanks

.

if u r getting fire to the plugs, pull the #1 plug & turn the motor over until the piston is at top dead center(tdc). i use a small screwdriver in the plug hole. be careful & go slow so u don't mess anything up. when the piston is at tdc it should coincide with the mark on the harmonic balancer.when those 2 are in the correct position, the rotor "bug" should be facing the front of the engine or slightly left of the front of the truck.(when u r facing the truck). remember, at tdc of the firing stroke the valves should be closed.
