Muffler Idea

I am thinking of adding a dynomax bullet racing muffler to my straight piped ( 4") exhaust. I think this will eliminate the flutter without giving up any performance. Has anyone else tried this? Any comments?

I haven't tried it personally, but a lot of people I know have. They say it kills the flutter nicely. I'm skeptical because they're so non-restrictive, I don't see how it can help much, but they've done it and say it works.

You can install a resonator, they are non-restrictive and straight thru and it eliminates about 60% of the flutter

Why would you want to get rid of the flutter?? Best part of a straight-piped v-8.

I didn't like the flutter myself, so I went with a magnaflow sytem. I love it! Nice and tuned till you romp on it, then it comes alive loud when you need it to be! For performance use anything with a straight through design.

If memory serves me correctly in past posts it was mentioned to have the exhaust tips pointed to the ground, and that would get rid of the flutter.
