I am thinking of adding a dynomax bullet racing muffler to my straight piped ( 4") exhaust. I think this will eliminate the flutter without giving up any performance. Has anyone else tried this? Any comments?
I haven't tried it personally, but a lot of people I know have. They say it kills the flutter nicely. I'm skeptical because they're so non-restrictive, I don't see how it can help much, but they've done it and say it works.
I didn't like the flutter myself, so I went with a magnaflow sytem. I love it! Nice and tuned till you romp on it, then it comes alive loud when you need it to be! For performance use anything with a straight through design.
i had a banks muffler in my 250, took it out 3-4 months ago- LOVE IT it sounds great the people in the cars next to me w/ there windows down love it too..... dont put a muffler in!
